When you take a step off the platform and zip through the tree top canopy, it will be an experience you will truly never forget. Gliding from tree top platform to tree top platform, you’ll go across five different zip lines varying in length from 275' to 675' and two suspension sky bridges. The course spans over 20 acres and is over a half mile long.

For our youngest resort guests, this zip line experience is designed to be the perfect amount of fun, thrill and excitement to leave them feeling accomplished and proud of their adventurous side. With a guide, each kiddo zips our 275’ zip line three times. Minimum age is four-years-old.

This adventure experience is perfect for adventure-seeking kiddos, looking to dip their toes in the water. 2 - 2.5 hours | $170 per guest

This combined experience will elevate your sense of adventure to extraordinary. Soar through the treetops on our Treetop Zip Tour and learn the fundamentals of Archery. 

 *The archery class is offered by the Salamander Resort recreation department and will require a separate reservation. 

Providing a challenging yet uplifting, team bonding experience is what EMERGE is all about. With all activities based on the ground this iterative process allows teams to explore how they organize and communicate their goals, roles, interactions and planning processes. 

Groups will love EMERGE for its fun, high-energy and up-lifting team building activities.  EMERGE activities challenge groups to think creatively, identify goals and roles, exhibit positive communication, and support one another.  Participants will be encouraged to get outside of their comfort zone by trying new methods of communication and problem-solving, connecting in new ways, discarding their limitations and achieving more together than they thought possible.

EMERGE is unique in that the outcomes are customized to meet the group’s needs.  Our team will listen to your “pain points” and together we will create an experience that will engage your group and team members.  When possible, scheduling multiple “touch-points” with the group, allows us to “front load” the desired behaviors, reinforce the learning and help the group truly apply the lessons learned and new strategies to their work and their lives.

The Tribal Challenge is a highly-engaging, outdoor team building event. The Tribes are challenged with a series of fun, physical, and mental problem-solving activities where effective communication, trust, and working together is paramount to success.

The Tribal Challenge takes participants on a skillfully crafted mix of adventure experiences with equal parts Survivor, Scavenger Hunt, and Salamander Adventure’s proven EMERGE team building program. It serves as a purposeful springboard to strengthen attributes of a healthy team culture such as communication, inclusion, trust, and personal leadership. This challenge provides tangible take-aways for continued growth and opportunity for the team to continue pushing towards higher-level functioning and cohesiveness.

This is a completely unique experience that will truly get your hands dirty as you learn critical survival skills such as compass navigation, shelter building, snare trapping, and water filtration. Two hours in the beauty of the wilderness with nothing but a few basic supplies and one goal: Survive. Do you have what it takes?

Each Survival Adventure is guided by our professional staff to provide exceptional support and encouragement as you navigate through your adventure. You’ll feel energized and empowered as you seize the day and accomplish more than you imagined.

Enjoy a taste of surviving in the great outdoors with this abbreviated version of the more in-depth Survival Challenge. You will learn compass navigation and 1 survival station of your choosing (trapping, shelter building, or water filtration). Ideal for those who want to gain a bit of survival experience.

Alongside experienced instructors, our Survival Adventures will teach you the basic skills needed to survive in the wilderness such as shelter building, water filtration, trapping, rope skills, and self-rescue techniques.
