Bear's Den Overlook

Bears Den Overlook

Nestled along the Appalachian Trail, Bears Den Overlook offers sweeping views of the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. The overlook is a short walk from the Bears Dean day-use parking lot ($3 per vehicle) or a half (.5) mile uphill hike from the Route 7 Parking Lot. The scenery is especially breathtaking at sunset or during peak fall foliage in mid-October.

After your hike, unwind at a nearby local favorite such as Bluemont Station Brewery, Bear Chase Brewery, or Dirt Farm Brewery.
