Taste of Blue Ridge is pleased to visit Market Salamander for the first time ever during the 2023 Root to Table Culinary Series!

Join us for an intimate culinary experience as we highlight the “Brand of Excellence” featuring Chef Pete Smith, Chef Jason Reaves, and Boxwood Winery.

The Root to Table Culinary Series is excited to visit Market Salamander for the first time in the 2023 season. Join us as Chef Pete Smith and Jason Reaves help us highlight what it takes to earn Root to Table’s Brand of Excellence. This event will kickoff the Brand of Excellence campaign which will see 4 Chefs / Restaurateurs earn Root to Table’s Brand of Excellence at the All-Star event in December.
Vision


Boxwood Winery is located in an area steeped in Revolutionary, Civil War American history and renowned for world-famous horse farms. Today the area is also known as a wine region, Virginia being the fifth largest wine producing state. Chef Pete will be featuring wonderful dishes to pair with this great wine to create a unique experience.
