- All dogs must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival. Owners are required to review, sign and return the resort’s dog agreement at check-in.
- Salamander Middleburg reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any dog exhibiting aggressive, disruptive or unsafe behavior and may request that the dog be removed from the property. The resort is not responsible for injuries sustained by a dog while on property.
- Guests are responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning or disruption caused by their dog. Additional cleaning or repair charges may be applied to the guestroom account, including when damage is discovered following departure. Guests may also be responsible for costs associated with disturbances that result in financial loss to the resort.
- Owners are responsible for promptly cleaning up and properly disposing of dog waste while on property.
- Please notify resort management promptly of any accidents in the guestroom so appropriate cleaning can be arranged.
- Dogs are not permitted on guestroom furniture, including beds, chairs and sofas.
- The provided “Dog in Room” door hanger must be displayed on the exterior of the guestroom door whenever a dog is inside. Housekeeping, In-Room Dining and other resort teams will not enter while the sign is displayed unless service has been arranged in advance. Resort management may enter the room when necessary to address a disturbance or safety concern.
- Housekeeping service must be arranged in advance. Dogs must be with their owner or removed from the guestroom while service is being provided.
- Dogs may be left unattended in the guestroom only when secured in a crate. Guestrooms with unattended, uncrated dogs will not be serviced. - Dogs should be current on all recommended vaccinations. Guests agree to provide current vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian upon request.
- Dog beds, food and water bowls and food mats provided in the guestroom are for use during the stay and are not complimentary. Charges will apply for any items removed from the guestroom. Please visit the Front Desk if you would like to purchase them.
